Linen pants mordanted with pomegranate peels and dyed with natural logwood (Haematoxylum campechianum), lightly waxed and bleach-distressed. Logwood is native to Mexico and the Yucatán Peninsula, and its heartwood oxidizes from bright red to deep purple, dark bluish, and eventually near-black — the source of this piece's living violet-black color.
Material: Linen dyed with logwood (pomegranate & logwood botanical dye).
Process: Mordanted with pomegranate peels, natural logwood botanical dyeing, lightly waxed finish + bleach distressing.
